General Summary
This position is posted at multiple levels
Independently formulates and defines system scope and objectives that are in support of the business’ goals and objectives. Devises and/or modifies procedures or configurations to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs can will be written, modified or applications can be configured to support business processes. Designs, codes / configures, tests, debugs and documents programs / applications. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. May be responsible for development / completion of one or more project phases. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts and programmers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coordinate efforts to ensure successful implementation, application, maintenance, upgrade and documentation of assigned applications. Act as the primary point of contact when users experience difficulty and/or need other assistance. Determine solution for process failure and /or integrity issues. Interface with other application analysts as needed to resolve programming or data problems. Design, code, test, and debug programs/ applications of varying complexity. Interface with contractors or junior persons on these activities. Participate in the program or system software upgrade effort, including assisting customers in their testing. Develop and maintain applicable procedures associated with assigned applications. Ensure business processes and rules are captured within software application features.
Write functional specifications and develop validation and verification plans. Approve final test results and receive signoff from data stakeholder. Assist in implementing changes and coordinate with end users and technical resources as needed; point person for reviewing changes with IS Leadership/Work Management team for authorization for production change and scheduling. Document any required work flow changes associated with upgrades. Develop, maintain, and communicate change management plans.
Provide general and application specific technical support to customers to ensure the availability and continuity of business applications or programs in the production environment, from workstations to network servers, drawing on support from other IS staff if needed.
Maintain a solid understanding of the customer's business; including goals, objectives, work processes, and theirend product or service.
Interface with vendor's technical support center, search the vendor's website, research the software architecture of application functionality, and learn to use the application tools to assist/coach customers in the implementation of new functions or in troubleshooting process and data problems.
Evaluate work requests; to determine feasibility; develop work plans, cost and schedule estimates, or recommendations by interviewing customers to identify and interpret their requirements and objectives. Interface with customers and team leader to agree on task priorities and to maintain open communications with them on work status, issues, and concerns.
Lead or assist in the preparation of formal system or cross-systems proposals by interviewing customers, peers, and vendors on business and technical requirements to interpret needs and objectives, forecast proposal costs and benefits, and make recommendations as to proposal continuance.
Coordinate the implementation of application changes into production with customers and peers, ensuring changes and/or customizations to program / application objects and processes are clearly identified and packaged for migration and documented in adherence to standards.
Must participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated.
Must support the biennial refueling outage.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Level III: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline and five years of directly related IT experience in application programming and analysis. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered on a one to one basis. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Level II: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline and three years of directly related IT experience in application programming and analysis. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered on a one to one basis. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Level I: Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered on a one to one basis. A high school diploma or GED is required.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Desire eight years of progressively responsible experience in programming and analysis, preferably within the nuclear environment.

Proficient in the current Workday HCM and FIN applications (Security, Reporting, Business Processes, Job Requisition, APIs, XML, and data extracts/transmissions)
Provide security design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday security into non-production and production.
Conduct report reviews and analysis, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.
Design and implement a secure and scalable Workday security design based on business and regulatory requirements.
Plan and execute client engagements focusing on Workday security, controls, and audits of Workday environments.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of Workday controls throughout the business cycle.
Assist with the development of Workday Security training materials and delivery to increase knowledge across the team.
Create, edit, and remove organization security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to user-based, role based, domain security and business process security Policies in Workday.
Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes.
Responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, analyzing errors, and diagnosing appropriate resolution with nominal or no supervision.
Responsible for providing recommendations to senior management for process and/or system improvements/enhancements.
Provide daily operational support to end users in Workday.
Responsible for conducting system testing for upgrades, testing for customizations and/or other changes.
Responsible for the support of internal and/or external audits relating to data residing on the Workday HCM and/or applicant tracking systems, as deemed necessary.
Apply in-depth technical analysis to solve system and application issues.
Demonstrate the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
Responsible for filing and record keeping of all requests for technical changes/enhancements to the system.
Able to self-learn and develop skills as new functionality is delivered.
Salary Range
Level III Salary: $89,665 minimum to $112,081 midpoint, $134,497 career excellence
Level II Salary: $77,963 minimum to $97,454 midpoint, $116,945 career excellence
Level I Salary: $67,838 minimum to $84,798 midpoint, $101,758 career excellence
Typically, selected candidates are hired at a salary rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
