General Summary

GENERAL SUMMARYProvide administrative support for the designated organization based on assigned projects. Assigned projects will be in the area of business practices in support of the department. This position will be directly accountable to assigned department staff and will support assigned project related activities and initiatives.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSupport assigned routine department activitiesSupport project-related activities within the departmentSupport emergent related work or assignmentsREQUIRED EDUCATIONRequires current part to full time enrollment status, or a recent graduate, in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university. Area of study must be in an administrative field related to the assigned role. Target hire is a student at a Junior or Senior status level at the time the internship commences. Students earlier in their college experience will be considered, along with recent graduates (within six months of graduation). Must maintain a minimum 2.8 cumulative G.P.A. unless approved by Human Resources.

Job Specifics

Accounting majors are highly preferred.

REPOST: Due to business need, the time length of this position has changed and is now a five month long internship in our Finance group. Local students are encouraged to apply. Students must be available to work full-time during June-August and then part-time (approximately 20 hours a week) from September-October (see actual dates listed below). Interviews will take place in mid-May 2019.

Projected dates of internship: June 3, 2019 - October 31, 2019

Hourly rates:

Junior status: $16.50

Senior status: $18.50
